Rainbows, shooting stars and birthday wishes,
these are all the things you in believe in as a child.
Bills, work and a never ending headache
these are the things you deal with as an adult.
Kick the can, double-dutch and capture the flag
are the games you fondly remember.
Aspirin, ulcers and struggling to make ends meet
are the things you end up with as you grow older.
To be able to just be free and have no restraints,
but than you realize that, that time has pasted.
